Default Eiger 400 rear differential fluid change

I'm trying to change the rear differential fluid in the Suzuki I can't get the top bolt out to put the oil in. Do you turn the bolt towards you or away from you. I'm turning it away from me and I still can't get it loose. I have tried fluid film and still can't get it off.plzzz help!!!

Counter clockwise to loosen.

I have been turning it that way wasn't sure if it was the right way or not though I can't get it off it doesn't look rusted it all but I don't think it's been off in 2 years I don't know if I should try heating it up with a torch or try some penetrating oil. I was also thinking of trying to go at it with an impact gun if I could get in there but I don't know if that would be a good idea or not

A good fitting hexagonal socket and long tommy bar is best. You can warm the case round it, but don't overdo it. You could try an impact screwdriver, but it is all to easy to round off a tight bolt head with an impact gun.

A 6 point socket is best of you have it. As mentioned, turn counter clockwise. It shouldn't be too tight. A 1/2 inch drive socket with a breaker bar should loosen it. I would avoid the impact.
