Hello dsEATER,
I just picked up my daughters LT50 yesterday, she is 3 (4 in Nov) and she loves it. It really slow which is a good thing.
I hear you on the tired of running around holding on to the tether! I gave up on that because it dosen't have enough compression braking to stop it even if you do pull the tether, so I hooked a 15 foot rope to it and if she is in trouble i just pull and it stops!
On another note is your Por-line air box loud?
I am thinkin gabout this setupi on my Raptor, but I want to avoid alot of intake noise.

Congrats to everyone on their new 50's, you won't be able to wipe the grin off those kids faces. I know the routine on running behind with the rope, did it with the 4 1/2 year old now doing it with the 3 1/2 year old. Hey maybe I'll lose some of the gut. I've got an old lt 50 that is due for some repairs but have some one interested in buying it for a good price. Worst part is I need to replace it with something about the same size for the 3 1/2 yr old. How much did you guys end up paying for the new 50's ? How stiff is the suspension ? Feels good being the best dad in the world (at lest for a while ) doesn't it!

Good Deal I bet those things will sell like crazy once everyone knows they can get one. Those little things should run forever. Hey keep us posted, I'm interested on how well they run uncorked. I know our old lt 50 will pull my 200 lb. butt around alright.

Hey guys, I paid 1920.00 OTD including a new HJC youth helmet.
My 3 year didn't need it, but dear old dad couldn't resist, I pulled the restrictor!
Woooo-Haaaaa now were having big fun! With the restrictor it wouldn't even move with me on it(250 lb), but now it moves right out. I even did a little hill climbing! ITs WAAAAY to much for her with the restirctor out, but when it was in I needed to have the throttle limiter backed all the way out so she could make it up the hill behind our house, now I have it set it just below 1/4 throttle limit.
Word to the wise, I ripped my exhaust gasket when removing the restrictor, so you might want to have a spare on hand.

Great deal, I figured they would run preety good with the restrictor out. Our old LT 50 doesn't have the exaust restrictor in it and runs about 13 mph but unfortunately it doesn't have a throttle limiter so I just have to pull the plug on him. With no suspension it gets to be pretty wild ride sometimes. Does the suspension actually work with the little one on it, I know some of the little bikes are stiff as a board ? When you do get around to taking out the restrictors the old 50's also have an intake restrictor between the intake and the head (thin metal peice with a slit in it), I don't know if the new one have it or not. I haven't fooled with it yet, hell I can barely run fast enough to keep up with him now. Keep us posted on how you like the new machine.
