Throttle stuck wide open

Throttle stuck wide open
Went for a ride yesterday and on return trip home as I geared down motor sounded wide open. Used kill switch. Tried again and still wide open on start. Killed again and pushed it home. Mayday mayday. I’m 6 hour drive from a mechanic. Any ideas. When pushing throttle it sounds like it’s moving inside casing???
