Default LT80 issue

I bought a couple of LT80's back in 2020 for my kids.
Both have had work done by your company. I believe stage 1 if I can remember correctly from what the previous owner said.

They have ran amazing every time. My kids are young so they mostly stay at camp and ride the kids tracks and small dunes next to camp.
Recently, my son has started riding with me on longer rides and this past weekend I took him on a pretty good size ride.

His Quad started acting weird about half way to the destination by running out of power. It would no longer stay in the power band to make it up hills. It finally bogged down and died.
I eventually got it started it back up and it would not engage or move. Just rev up without moving (like a clutch issue). It shut down again so we towed it back to camp.

When we got back to camp, it fired right up, and engaged just fine.

Any ideas?

I appreciate any feedback!
Thank you,
Kevin

Jack doesn't come on here much these days. I would take a look inside the belt box for a start. It may just have been a wet belt, but a worn belt, sticky pulleys, or dry grease on the rollers can cause trouble. Also there is a shoe type centrifugal clutch on the driven pulley, that could be worn out.
