The LT250r gets no respect.

I've been noticing lately that the Lt250r has a striking simularity to Rodney Dangerfield. It seems like any time someone asks about buying one, people always say "they have sucky handling, and can't jump worth crap". I've ridden a few, and can tell you, while the handling isn't trx250r caliber, it is still very good. For anyone who wants a fairly cheap, fast quad, I recommend the Lt250r. I'd have one if I didn't have my 400ex

great post! i agree the LT gets no respect. its always been in the shadow if its big bro and the honda 250r. sure the honda mighta handled better but what has better ergonomics? the lt. what goes faster stock? the lt. what has the best low end? the lt. and whoever says LT's can't jump are wrong. i think my LT jumps better than a 400 just because of the weight difference. th LT's were a great quad and i'm going to own another one someday. maybe i'll build the perfect quad: 250r chasis with the LT engine.

I have an 86 LT250 and my brother has an 86 250r quad and I love the way mine feels, handles and the way the motor is. The honda is too pipey, and I feel like I sit really high on it. Also, my Suzuki has never had any problems, has never been rebuilt, although I am going to freshen it up this year, and when it was a little fresher, would keep up with a banshee, and all I have done is put an FMF pipe on it.
