I have no idea were to start with jetting, but was wandering about your race reed cage. In the 86 the reeds are in the base of the cylnder. So what kind of a reed cage did you come up with. I'm really interested, I now run Boysen reeds, there just ain't much of a choise in reeds for these quads.

Thanks, Danno

well . its a five window instead of the stock four window. about one half inch wider and your jug has to be milled to fit it. it looks really cool too. I have all my motor work done by ritter cycle. if you go into polaris forms he is a very respected man in the performance of polaris and all other quads. he will talk to you and answer all you questions you have. RITTERCYCLERACING 1(618)644-3211 rick usually answers the phone. tell him you were talking to loren and want to know about the reed cage he built my motor with. yes he will know who I am. I send alot of my paychecks his way.

Badscram,

Thanks, I will keep this in mind for the next rebuild. My Racer is still on a fresh build. Where is Ritter Cycle Racing at? I would think with a 618 area code it would be in eastern Ill. Does the increased size help that much? If so, what part of the RPM range does it help the most?

Thanks for the info, Danno

bdscram,

Thanks for the info, I'll have to talk to them the next rebuild. Hopefully that won't be too soon, if you know what i mean.
