Anyone tryed such a set up for keeping LT500's cool when racing sand dunes (comp hill type stuff). Also what are your success storys as far as reliability and how do you accomplish such success ???

I don't believe there's enough room between the radiator and steering stem to mount a fan in behind, and if ya put it in the front, it'll just block airflow at high speeds. Try a super cooler(or 2!) that hook into the radiator hoses, and a cool head. Maybe even that "40 below" or "water wetter" additive might help reduce temps. You can get that stuff through Jeg's or Summit (you know, the racing equip. catalogs for autos). If your a good welder(or know one) have some cooling fins welded onto the cylinder(I'll let you try that one). Also, get your radiator flushed and pressure tested(cost me $15) and make sure most of the fins are straight and not bent over..... Oh, try making a larger scoop that bolts onto the bottom of the radiator instead of the small stock plastic one....
