I beat a 230 quadsport on my blaster. it was behind me a ways, but it stayed about the same distance form me. it wasnt that long of a race.

 

if you would put a smaller front sprocket on it you would be able to beat them you dummy I have 12-40 gearing on mine, I didnt say that i was able to beat them on top end cause they got a bigger displacement, what i said was i could beat them in about a 65 yard drag race on pavement. The reason i beat them then is cause the quadsport is lighter than all of them.

I had 12-41 gearing and I still couldn't beat them off the line or on top end. Even if we switched quads. Now I still can't beat them off the line but I am a little closer on top. So who is the dummy??? But yes the quadsport is lighter than them all.

 

listen stupid a quadsport can NOT be a 300ex or a warrior in a 65 foot drag race whether he has a bigger sporket or not it is just not geared right to beat them and mine is bored out so it does have more hp. i can beat them when the quadsport driver says go but other wise not. so i know you think your quadsport is great and all but face it they r not good enough anymore.

 

Listen morons ya'll must have real sucky quadsports or something if ya'll can't beat a 300EX. My Quadsport will beat my Warrior on pavement. And I have beaten all kinds of stock or modified 300EX's on my stock 88 Warrior so I know that a Quadsport will too outrun a 300EX. If you dont think so I will get mine fixed and prove it to you. I have outrun a Tri-250 and they have a YZ250 motor on them. I outran just about everything on it except 250R's, Banshees, and highly modified Warriors. And we all raced on pavement so hooking up wasnt a problem. The only time that a 300EX or a stock Warrior or Blaster or 250X outran me was when we were not racing on pavement and that was because I had slick tires.

 

ok i kind of agree with you qs are good of the line. i have beatten a 300ex off the line. mine revs out quickly so it is good on a short dag but i am not sure about top end. As for beating the blaster i belive it because they are the biggest piece of junk i every seen. every thing is so cheap on them. but i still don't know about beating a 300ex at top end.

 

You must be an freaking awsome rider. Or everyone that you ride with sucks bad. Face it Quadsports are out dated and are NOT faster than a Warrior, 300EX, Mojave, and not a Blaster.

 

We would switch riders and everything and the Quadsport would still win. I have a friend that bought a Quadsport a while back and that one wouldnt fall out of a tree. I could outrun him on a 125 that didnt have any shocks on it. I have only seen one other Quadsport around here that actually runs good, but the guy sold it, and that one wouldnt outrun mine. I dont know if mine just ran that good for some odd reason or what it was. But I know that my Quadsport was faster than a stock Mojave, 300EX, Warrior, and 250X cause I was there when it would win against them so dont tell me that it wasnt cause i know that it was.

 

I ride a 230 quadsport and I can pull wheelies in grass, mud, dirt, or anything that has traction.
