I heard that the Wiseco piston some how will blow up in a ported engine... Anyone know anything about this?

NO WAY! porting has nothing to do with pistons blowing up. The only thing you have to watch out for with Wiesco pistons is "let it warm up before ou ride hard" Forged pistons expand diferently than cast pistons when they heat up. I have been running Wiesco for 4 years on a ported motor and have never had a problem, I would think they would actually be better for ported engines as with bigger intake and exhaust ports there is more tendency for cast pistons to break there skirts.

If you can get a stock or some other cast piston do it!
