new to atvs need help

i am just about to buy my frist atv. i was thinking of either a yamaha warrior, kawasaki mojave or a suzuki ozark. im 5'6" and 125 pounds. i would be basicaly be using it for trail riding. any help would be great

That depends on if you want a Utility or not. I personally would go with the Mojave, because of liquid cooling, and they are decent "all-around" quads.

How about a 300ex? That would be good starter quad. Or maybe the bombardier rally for that good mix of sport and utility.

Well, I'm 6' and ~200lbs and I have a blast on my Ozark.

My son doesn't like it because of the racks so he has a TRX250EX instead. But the Ozarks performance in on par with his sport quad. Plus, it has a larger engine.

Try a few out and see which one you like the best. FWIW, the Ozark has gotten consistently high ratings in every test except dune running - not enough power for that.
