Suzuki has there 03 line-up, and show a manual and auto Vinson. I think this is a good move. Hope others will follow.

Look at this.

NEW MODEL:
2003 SUZUKI LT-F500F VINSON 4X4 MANUAL

Building on the success of the industry-leading Vinson 4x4, Suzuki proudly introduces the all-new 2003 LT-F500F manual 5-speed Vinson. The new manual version of the popular sport-utility Vinson is blessed with features and styling similar to the hugely popular automatic Vinson 4x4 and when combined with a new liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine create the perfect companion to the Vinson 4x4 automatic.
The manual Vinson is powered by a new liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine tuned for higher torque output and quick acceleration. The new motor features new plasma-spray cylinder coating for lightweight and increased durability, a gear-driven balancer shaft for reduced vibration, and a Keihin 63mm carburetor for quick throttle response and optimum fuel efficiency. Transmission duties are handled by a new five-speed manual transmission equipped with an automatic clutch and two speed sub-transmission complete with automotive-style single lever operation with forward, reverse and park settings. A new 2WD/4WD electric push button controller, compact torque-sensing limited slip front differential and "In-Gear" starting complete the new manual Vinson .
The 5-speed Vinson 4x4 utilizes a rugged large diameter steel frame built for maximum strength and minimal weight. A double A-arm suspension set up resides up front along with five-position preload adjustable shock absorbers providing 7.09 inches of wheel travel and 9.9 inches of ground clearance. The swingarm style rear suspension and single shock absorber handles things out back resulting in 7.87 inches of wheel travel for the lightweight cast aluminum wheels. Large 190mm disc brakes provide the stopping power at the front, and a single 216mm disc is fitted at the rear. A lightweight skid plate and bumper guard are also mounted to provide maximum protection with minimal resistance over rocks and other obstacles. High capacity rack and 5.0 gallon fuel tank provide maximum carrying capacity and long range operation.
Visually the all new Vinson continues the trend of aggressive bold good looks matched with high clearance fenders and vibrant color selections in yellow, green and an all new red color choice. Other features include bright fender-mounted multi-reflector headlights, large combination taillight/brakelight, and additional 40W handlebar mounted auxiliary light, a large T-shaped seat for comfort and support, a 325 watt charging system, and a waterproof 12V/120W automotive-style electrical outlet mounted to the front fender.
Inspired by Mt. Vinson an isolated and rugged peak, long famous as the highest peak in Antarctica. The all-new 2003 Suzuki manual 5-speed Vinson 4x4: Inspired by life's mountains.

Suzuki is on the right track with a Vinson 5 sp. I think I would like it better if it wasn't for the headlights. They look like Raptor lights glued onto the top of the fender. Other then that, it must be a very nice and capable quad. It gets good reviews in ATV action mag.
