Yes!!! Finally. I hope they come up with something that handles reasonably well. Also do you know if it will use the DR-Z400 dirt bike motor?

My local Suzuki/Arctic Cat/Bombardier dealer told me the same thing. He said that he saw a dealer notification on it and that off the top of his head is was based off of the DRZ-400 powerplant with electric start. He said that it will be Suzuki yellow and grey.

Sounds like it will be a good machine, IF they actually did some R&D on it. I don't want to see an old Quadracer chassis with that DRZ engine slapped in it. That would be such a waste!!!

QUAD_RIDER,
The DR-Z400 is a liquid cooled, 4-valve, DOHC, 4-stroke single.

So I guess that the DR-Z400, would be similar to the LT-F500 engine on the Quadrunner, except for the difference of 100cc and the DOHC.
This would be a prime contender for the 400ex...at last, Suzuki is getting into the racing business again.... if it actually happens.

I've been telling people this for a long time now that Suzuki is coming out with a sport machine, I just didn't know exactly when. Suzuki should have put some R&D in this new machine, they sure had enough time to!

You have to realize, that Suzuki has spent the last ten years, digging themselves out from underneath a mountian of liability lawsuits, filed by a bunch of idiots who felt that the manufacturers should have to pay for their inability to ride in a responsible way.
I am sure that they have had a lot of time for R&D, but they probably spent the majority of it, deciding whether it's worth their while financially, to get back into the game again.

Just my opinion.....

I would be ashamed to represent the idiots who got hurt riding the bikes. I can't see how our law system will allow such a thing, knowingly that the bike was not at fault. I have never heard or seen anyone get hurt from the bike deciding to do something it shouldn't off, always operator error. The manufacturers need to get some of O.J.'s lawyers....hehehe Later.
