Z400 RUNS ROUGH IN REVERSE

everytime i put my z in reverse and rev it up,it sputters like ,and runs rough,does it have a revlimiter for when your in reverse or do i need to go to the dealer .i dont remember it doing that when it was new,does anyone know if this is normal?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

ok ,i just searched other posts and found that others are having this problem,but let me know if you have the same experience

one question I havent got my Z yet supposed to be in today[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] does it do it after you ride for a while or when you just start it

Everyone's Z does this, 100% normal. Its a rev limiter so you don't kill yourself going backwards. The reason you don't remember doing it when you got it is because you didn't give it much throttle because you were not used to the Z yet. Now that you are you always hit the rev limiter in reverse.

It's easily fixed just by letting the clutch out sooner. You'll get used to it.

Don't rev so hard I found this out on the side of a hill.
