400 Eiger Auto 4x4

My Eiger goes abot 56 mph also, so I don't think it needs looked at, it's tuned in perfect. Like I said it has a lot of punch, one of the reasons I bought it. My Eiger will outrun the Kodiak on a shorter race but I think the Kodiak has a bit more top end but haven't raced long enough yet. The auto Eiger I've ridden would NOT out run a Kodiak at any speed, or a 5sp Eiger, seems to have some auto lag. I've outrun several sp 500's (non ho's) w/ my Kodiak so maybe it is quicker than others? But speed isn't everything, The Eiger will out mud the Kodiak and rides better as well. I just hope the Eiger will be as good a quality bike as my Yamaha has been. They had to clean a jelly like substance out of the bowl of my Eiger's carb when brand new. It was stalling, (3 times in 100 miles). It ran perfect as it does now, just would stall and sometimes on a dangerous hill. They fixed it, hasn't dont it since but still trying to gain my confidence back in it again.

They attributed it to dried gas from the factory, it would bounce around in the bowl and block the jet occasionally. I was ready to get rid of it but now it runs great now and I'm tickled w/ it. That low range is really low too. Going down some of these bad mountains here I have to use 3rd or 4th gear in low cause 1st and 2nd are too slow. Speaking of 650's, a friend's engine just blew up and tranny probs at 350 miles. It was out of warranty( 6 mo.) and Kawasaki would not help at all. Luckily, the dealer stepped in and he traded it for a Mule at cost.
