$4,890 for a 2002 4x4 5-speed Eiger. Add tax and registration to that. At the time Suzuki was offering a discount to dealers which is equal to the current lower pricing for the '03 models.

I got mine for $4950.00, no tax and refused to pay a doc fee. Also, got a nicer than expected helmet. Mine stalled a few times when I first got it and once on a bad hill. I was very upset about this and took it to the dealer. They found some dried fuel ?? in the bowl of the carb that was blocking the jet. They cleaned it and put an in line fuel filter on it and has run like a champ since, about 150 miles. I love the power on this bike combined with the smooth ride, almost puts you in the mind of IRS.

Made an offer of 4999 out the door (no tax-buying across state line) if they would include a loading ramp or Kolpin gun case. No go at this time. They will sell for the 4999 with no problem. I went to the Suzuki web site and showed then the quad MSRP was 4999 and they could not believe it. They wanted 5200 to start with. After seeing the MSRP on the web site things got interesting. Finally came down 4999. A few minutes later while we were still talking the web site showed the MSRP at 5199. At any rate it looks like I'll go with the 4999 even if they won't go a ramp or gun case. This is a different dealer that the first that offered 4999.
I need a ramp... would like a folder that is wider than the stock tires on the Eiger. Thoughts on this?

Ramps,,,Hm,
Well a friend of mine went to sears, and bought a set of their lawn tractor loading ramps, (2 of them-yellow or black in color) he paid about $80.00 for both,,,they work well, he hauls his rancher and has hauled a foreman 400 without any problems..

Thanks Nailer,

What do I do to set the tread so that the most recent reply is at the top. Tired of having to go to the bottom each time to read the last message. Tried to customize but I am doing it wrong I guess. Any help you can give.

No problem there Nailer. I ordered the Eiger (red) and they are having trouble locating one. Plenty of green for hunters but the salesman said the 03 red have not been released around here just yet. Don't know if I believe that or not. The dealer has 5 or 6 in green that are what I want except for the color. Looks like the best I can do price wise is OTD 4999 (no state tax). Having trouble with them kicking in a ramp or gun boot but they said they would give me half off retail on one or the other.

All well,
