I just put new rollers in my clutch (4) and a new plate over the rollers. When I test rode it about every 5 feet it jerks like it is skipping. When I put it back together I cleaned everything very good and checked the belt for wear. Any suggestions?

Could it be the chain?

 

The chain is very very loose, is there a way to tighten it or do you just replace?
