<< If you rigged up a variable speed RPM semsitive unit you might be able to make it work but with out a ton of r&d money I doubt you would ever get it right. Trust me many MFG's have tried what others think of odd ball Ideas and if adding a fan to the airbox was an effective or cheep source of power someone would have it out now. >>

The problem isn't that the systems don't work, it's just too expensive to mass manufacture vs the amount of power gained. Keeping something at or above X psig is fairly simple otherwise air compressors would cost more than they do.

It's $/hp that is the problem.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA,

I used to sell those as bilge blowers for boats. I didn't know they where good as a power adder. The problem here is that it is NOT a compressor. With that thing you will not build BOOST. Put it on a Ballon and see how much it fills it.

Smitty, a bilge blower is no match for the Conair 4500.

I think if you combine the hair dryer with the Tornada you may have something that will work.
Good Luck guys, being young and open minded is a great thing! Don't let others discourage you.
