I drove a Z400 and sat on a kfx400 and i dont like the thumb throttle. Is there any way to put a honda or yamaha style throttle on it.

Yeah, you can. It would probably be a good time to change the carb over to a 44ex carb at the same time. You will ge a power boost as well. If you don'tthen someone has to adapt the 400ex throttle to the Z400 cable.
