Default Plastic locking pins

Just pulled off a couple of the plastic pins that hold the Eiger panels on each side of the motor. Of course I dropped the little center pin in the grass and since the grass and the pin is green it is now lost. Anyone figured a way to replace those little "cheesey" plastic parts with a wing nut or some better method of holding the panels to the frame? One more thing ... how much is the replacement cost for these things?

Other than that the Eiger is a great machine.
