With the 44 mikuni I had to heat up water in a pan after taking the boot off,put the boot in the water to soften it up and then slip the carb on,let it sit and cool down then put it all back together,the lectron 44mm carb I didn't have that problem.I got my gas carb from Racer's Edge Racing in 1998,so the price may have gone up,between $200-$300.....Zilla
