Default Getting alcohol to run right

I've tried to get alcohol to run in my Zilla,I think I was close once then the cylinder cracked on bothside's,bought a new cylinder and all power was lost.Everything was the same on the new cylinder except the bore,I didn't max it out.ports and port timing was the same as the old cylinder maxed for drag racing, but still a massive power loss when on alcohol.I advanced the timing set the carb even bought a new alky from Dennis Packard, still the same no power. Can someone give me some insight on this like timing advance spec's,carb setting, but I use the lectron 44mm carb.I know the carb was not too rich cause it would rev slightly when decelerating, and it wasn't too lean cuz it did not break up at top end.any other suggestion's will be appreciated greatly, thank's Zilla
