I thought the ATV Connection shootout said overall they had to call it a tie between the Pred and the Dale because whoever got the holeshot won.

A predator won the nationals? WTF?

Maybe I'm just reading that wrong, but that makes no sence to me.

There are A LOT of different classes in both the GNC's and GNCC's. There is also a GNC MX series, and TT series. The Predator also hasn't been out long enough for anyone except Daryl Rath to race for the series, and since it's a 500, it can only race in the Open class.

So unless we are on two completely different tracks here, saying something won the nationals is being WAY to broad. And I don't think a Predator won the overall in any Open class either. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I wasn't aware of it winning.

I don't see how the Pred could have won any nationals considering it wasn't out in time for them last year and this years haven't happen yet. I don't know what racing or not racing has to do with that. I'm with MxDale on the nationals statement I would have to see some difinitive proof of that one to believe it. Don't get me wrong though if everything they say about the Pred is correct it may happen this year.

Has anyone seen the newest "High Performance Shootout" in Dirt Wheels? They compare the Predator, the Cannibal, the Raptor and the Z400. They had good things to say about all of them, they gave the Raptor the Drag Race & Trail Ride wins, the Predator the MX win and in the Final Conclusions, had nothing but good things to say about each machine. The Z got its usual praise for being a good all around machine and the Cannibal was said to be a great quad if you liked to ride hard.

In the end, it looks like maybe they do read these Forums. They did not pick a winner, instead they chose to point out each macines high points. I guess they wanted to take the Politicaly Correct stance and not rock the boat or upset anyone.

I totaly agree with you. Maybe all of us did have an impact who knows. It was possibly the best shootout I ever read from DW no bias just facts or at least facts based on their experiences and I can live with that.
