Should I pick a Vinson over Kodiak 450
I can't seem to keep my Vinson out of the shop it is there as we speek. For some resaon the shifter cable keeps breaking on me this is the 3rd cable that has broken. It broke on me last Tue. I got it out of the shor Fri. and after 20 minutes of ride time it broke on me again, it's the cheap plastic that it is made out of. I'm trying to get them to replace it with a 03' model, but not having a whole lot of luck with that, it only has 262 miles on it. Out of the 7 months that i woned it it has been in the shop for alrealt 3 of those months. This is the second Vinson that they have given me, the first on the shifter kept locking up on me, since then they have came out with the shifter kit and haven't had any problems with the locking up since. So my experience with MY vinson, I wouldn't recomend one to anyone.

...ohhhh kkkkk ..its an '02 model..I heard they had a few bugs in that year...I have an '03 prairie 650..and the clutch maintance is a pain in the butt..(***) but I like the power ..so I put up with it...they should give you the '03 shift unit...being it broke off a couple times...maybe your too strong...and should go into all star wrestling.... Good Luck...I see your from texas..we all have cabin fever up here...the other day it was -19 below zero with -35 below wind chill...cant wait till spring...this winter is really dragin on and on......later
