Well, that all depends on what kind of riding you plan on doing. My little causin has the LT160, it is fun to ride and i am 6'0'' almost 200 pounds, and it gets me around well. the only drawback is a short suspension. but handles extremely well for a smaller quad.

My daughter had a 160 for an "intermediate" bike. It was the old one with the racks (50 lbs heavier!). It was a good bike, and actually I had a good time riding it. It was my favorite bike for doing chores. The balooney tires made it a bit tippy though. We sold it to a friend, and it is still going strong after all these years.

We have a suzuki 160. I ride it around, as do my 3 teenaged sons. We also have a larger kawasaki. The only problem I have with the 160 is the tires and suspension. I am trying to find out if I can fit 22" tires on the front, and if a beefier shock will fit on the rear.
no-one seems to have the answer so I guess I'll have to try. I found a goodyear att902 tire is 22 x 9 x 8. this will mount on the rim. does anyone know ifit will rub?
anyway, I would recomend the 160 as a starter / intermediate quad.
