Default Rear shock for Zilla, are they all the same through the years??

I have a chance to buy a real nice OEM rear shock asm for my 89, however the shock in question is of the 87 model. The PN are different, but from what I know they are the same unit. Anyone care to conferm or dispute this?
thanks guys

Well i did a little research for you ,by looking up part #'s from an oem catalog clicky and the 87 rear shock has a different # then the 88-90. But if you look further into this ,all the parts that make up the shocks are exactly the same...and have the same #'s . So you shouldnt have any problem at all in my opinion.

Yeah, that is exactly what I saw too, the shock PN is off by 2 digits, the 87 is a 43b10 whereas the 88-90 is a 43b00, or vice versa, but as u stated the remainder of the parts(bushings, bolts, seals, bearings, ect) are all the same throught the years. Im gonna give it a whirl regardless.
