I dont worry about what anyone says their bike will do. I dont even care that Huedog doesn’t believe me. What I dont care for is someone telling me to "smarten up" because they dont believe me.

I posted this because 60mph seemed low to me to but I know that’s what it does because I recorded the speed on a GPS. After the first few posts, it was real obvious that mine is slower due to smaller tires than most. I dont see how it is so unbelievable to anyone who has read this thread from the beginning.

I have to agree, I really don't care how fast my quadracer goes on top end, I like acceleration being I prefer to ride motocross.
HUEDOGG, I replied to your other post about the tranny as well. Are you sure that's not a LT500 you have? I'm not saying a quadracer 250 can't run in the 80's with gearing changes and mods, but if it only has 5 gears you have tranny problems and need to get it fixed!

Yes i know my quadracers and it is definitely not a 500 because a stock 500 can go 79 mph and a stock 250 can go 71. plus i didnt mean to sound mean, kinda rymed , anyways if its a gps i will believe you because you said you have smaller tires.I didnt mean to offend you by telling you to smarten up ,maybe I do!

Well that is kinda silly... There is NO WAY somebody could mistake a Quadzilla for an LT250R they are totally different..

Doesn’t seem silly to me. I have both, they actually look quite similar. Both are yellow and blue Suzuki Quadracer and the seats and plastic are very similar. There are probably billions of people out there who have not ever seen either and would have no idea what they were looking at.

The 2 big differences are one has a normal looking motor and is kind of fast the other has a motor with a huge piston and is super fast. To someone who was not familiar with quads and/or quad motors none of that would mean anything.

I have both too and there are several differences - the Zilla is bigger than the 250R, the a-arms and axle are beefier, the plastic isn't even shaped the same, the Zilla weighs a lot more.... and then there is that real telltale sign you are looking at a Quadzilla - the huge cylinder that is on it has 499cc stamped into it on the left side by the reedcage.. Not as obvious but also something to tell is the exhaust valve retainer has 500 engraved into it...up by the top bolt.. They also sound different running.....

The plastic is extremely close. Maybe yours is not the stock plastic. Check out my pictures, if the lt500 fenders were not shaved, they would be almost identical.

It would be silly to assume that everyone out there knows all about Quadracers. There are Billions of people on this planet who have never seen either one and would have no idea, which is which.

Your avatar BTW is a Quadzilla... Sure they are both yellow and blue (for the most part) but those same people that you are referring to, if they can't tell the difference between the LT500 and the LT250, more than likely they can't tell the difference between any of the Hondas either.... For that fact, anybody who has ever seen a Honda 250R or even a 250cc dirtbike shold be able to look at a Quadzilla's motor and know that it is not a 250.. It is like A LOT bigger.... I know there are a lot of ppl out there who don't know about quads, those ppl who have no interest in them don't count as far as I am concerned because they aren't going to be looking at them anyway. There are people out there who don't even know what kind of car they drive other than the fact that it has tires under it and you push the gas and it goes.. The reason I think this idea is silly is the fact that there is a guy out there who bought an LT250R and it is being assumed that the guy he bought it from didn't know what kind of quad it was, and the guy who bought it couldn't tell the difference. It doesn't sound too likely to me that neither one of them knows what they got (especially the previous owner, because surely he has bought parts for it at one time or another) but I guess stranger things have happened... Not trying to sound like I am arguing with you or anything, I was just stating the fact that they are easy to tell apart even at a distance. My LT250R that was stolen
My Quadzilla

See the frontend on them isn't even shaped the same if you were looking a plastic only, the rear plastic is similar... OH BTW mine has Maier plastic, but the stock plastic doesn't look a lot different except for the hood - stock hood looks a lot better...
