Dude, Huedogg... out here in the west we dont care about top speed. We play on the hill.
Hey roost, I remember that orange and white banshee.... It might have been close, but it didnt smoke it by any means!
(I remember asking you about that Shee, it was awsome)

Ehh, torque gets you off the line... (if you have the traction) and the high RPM scream gets you up the hill fast.
(thats why banshees are kick *** up competition hill)
Now if its a technical hillclimb, with some turns, trees, and no 'running start' then torque is whats needed.
(zilla territory) My Zilla does pretty good up the hill now though with the torque to pull high gears up..

but when it comes to high-speed runs across some concrete i think my 250 is perfect. all i ride on is practically pavement.sometimes we go to the state forest which is riding distance away from home. we have a blast on the fire-roads. i can hit past 80mph on the fireroads, and the roads are only 8-10ft wide. its one hell of a rush when you take a corner too fast and your completely sideways trying to countersteer your mis-judgement. the dirt on the fireroads is very coarse.

its not like that . I LOVE MY LT TO DEATH. i would ride it for days straight . all i would do is come home for food, gas, sleep and go back on it. riding on the streets with quadracers is awsome. ripping over 85mph's everywhere. racing in the streets. drag racing in the streets. i love getting chased by the local police . all you have to do is hit the trails. we never get caught.were too fast!

Umm, yea they dont have 2 strokes (unless you get an old RD350.. banshee motor)
But my Kawasaki ZX-7R (750 ninja) will get to 60MPH in about 3 seconds, and race on up to around 165MPH.. (short gearing)
besides, when you hear/feel the scream of 13,000 RPM (higher on some bikes) , who needs a 2 stroke?
But I love my 250R and my Zilla though... Its just two different sports.

I have seen quads hit over 100mph at the 1/4 mile drag strip and they are 95+hp machines, sure you could gear a 70hp (not a 50hp one though) quad to hit 108mph but it would become an absolute pig on take off so what's the point...
RM490??? Never been such a thing! Yamaha made a YZ490, Honda made a CR420, and Suzuki made an RM465... even Suzuki's RM500 was AIR COOLED... not liquid.
Totally diff. motor!
Study your history.... the original prototype LT's were nasty, and never made available to the general public.
