Anyone been able to get around the rev limiter on the newer polaris outlaw 90's?

The CDI on the 07 and 08 4 strokes are totally sealed

Thanks though!

There are too many users names that begin with OPT, can you help me with the full name?

Thanx!

That would be Old Polaris Tech, the Yoda of the Polaris forum. I remember reading how to disable the rev limiter but I thought it was something like 700 sportsman said. I thought there was a little clip to unplug or something like tha, but it may have been an earlier model. Good luck.

I have the same problem, the rev limiter is active when in forward and I have no power. I had the same problem last year and found the micro ETC switch was bad and bypassed it. It ran great until last weekend. The headlights also won't come on, I think I have an electrical problem. If you found the fix to diable the rev limiter that would help.

Did anyone find a way around the Rev limiter?? My son also has a 2008 Outlaw 90 and would like to disable the limiter off of it.
