Default Can this cylinder head be fixed?

Hi. I'm new here. Just got my second '86 lt230s quad sport. Loved the first one. I just picked up my second one for cheap. The top end was locked up. When I pulled the head, I noticed some pitting in the combustion chamber. Mating surface for the jug and head look good. I'm wanting to know what you guys think about the condition of it. Should I replace it or can I get it machined or maybe smooth it out and use it. I'm attaching a few pics. All info will be a great help. Thanks!

That thing is pretty rough. Assuming it is flat and you can get a seal when you put it back together, the first thing you are going to need is a good valve job and probably valves. What you have there is a motor that self destructed from heat. There is probably a whole lot more wrong with this motor than what you have discovered. Do a thorough inspection on everything as I suspect this machine hasn't been maintained very well. Man that is some kind of abuse you got there.
