These two do not go into the kill switch/headlight switch assembly.

Order the switch I posted a link to. This needs to be on the machine as a safety feature. It's a starter safety switch that allows the starter to engage only when you pull the brake lever! If afterwards it still doesn't engage the starter, then it could be a bad starter relay(mounted under the seat on Polaris, don't know on Eton) or starter motor itself...

Ok... But why would I need to order the switch when those two wires are no where connected to the kill switch assembly? For now so I can get the carb adjusted is there anything I can do with the brown or green wire to start the quad?

The starter interlock switch comes with new wiring in place of the two wires you have. All this safety plunger switch does is to stop starter engagement unless you pull the brake lever. You can kick start it (if you have one) as this plunger and wiring doesn't have anything to do with the ignition, just the electric starter part of it. You can tie the two ends of the tether safety switch together to eliminate it as a problem on testing ignition,BUT again it's a safety device also,if bad I'd replace it also.
