tail light issue

Welcome to the forums.
I don't have this model, but the first thing I'd check would be the bulb. If it's just a one filament bulb, then it's only going to have break lights. If it's a two filament bulb, then you should have a running light. If the bulb is good, I would think it's going to be a wiring issue. If there is a fuse for the tail light, I'd bet it would be for both and not separate.

I don't know if Polaris ever made an ATV without tail lights but I've never seen one. I would pull the bulbs out and check them first too. I use an ohm meter whenever I check light bulbs, whether they're in the house or on a vehicle. I don't care how many ohms it is. It's either an open or a closed circuit and that's what matters to me. If it's like my '08 EFI the fuses are behind the radiator cap. Open the front cargo box and pull the cover. Spare fuses should be on top of the cover if it's like mine. But I think it's one fuse for brake lights and tail lights since they're in the same pair of bulbs. It wouldn't make sense for there to be 2 fuses for them.
