As far as an insurance company adding the claim (or attempted claim) to your record, they all do that. Homeowners insurance is especially bad about this. Any time you call them with "what ifs" someone documents that. There's and artical in this months Readers Digest (gotta read somethin while on the throne) about this very thing.

86250rrider, i didnt mean that your truck was a piece of crap either i just meant it was the same type of situation, you nknow hitting a parked vehicle thing. i also talked to a supervisor, who was a supervisor, who was a supervisor, who was a supervisor[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] geez how many supervisors and managers do they have they just kept telling me they checked with whoever was above them that it wasnt covered because of the way they interpret their own policy. this is what was aggrevating, that they would interpret somthing that was written to mean something else. if they had told me that it wasnt covered and i read in policy in black and white that it wasnt covered i would have understood. oh thats another thing is that kept telling me a copy of my policy was sent or in the mail i never recieved one until they denied the claim. man i could go on all day. sorry [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
