IMHO, if you had a Chevy body, the Cummins Diesel, and the Allison Tranny Sitting on
the Ford frame, that would be the best for pulling. That basically sums it up what
I think of each company.
The Cummins has something on the Duramax and Powerstroke. It is an Inline 6 design
which is better for pulling. This is why you dont find too many V-8 diesels in semis, industrial
equipment, and even farm tractors.
The Allison automatic is just awesome!! Allison defines the automatic transmission.

I've had my Chev for 10 years now, it has almost 100,000 miles on it and still looks new and hasn't had any problems at all *knocks on wood*
I'm gonna be buying a new truck soon and It'll be a Chevrolet for sure. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
