The Cummins is the way to go with a Dodge. The Hemi is just hype and an overrated gas hog. You will be better off with the 3/4 ton in the long run too. Plus down the road someday when you get ready to trade, resale will be worth a lot more (if the Dodge hasn't fallen apart around it).

 

Do you really think the HEMI is overrated? I really don't think I can say the HEMI is the best engine every anymore than you can say it's overrated. I only have 20,000 miles on my HEMI and it hasn't missed a beat and pulls rather well as far as I'm concerned. I would put it up against any gas powered full size out there.
