If fighting is supposed to be part of the game, you wouldn't get a penalty for it. If a fan tosses something like popcorn at a player, just toss them. If it's a hard item intended to disrupt the game or hurt someone, then charge them. I'm sure you could find something in the law books for that. A fan hits a player, then the player goes to jail. The player was the victim.

I'm talking about the BS that happened at the basketball game. Player goes into the stands. I don't care if you're heckled. You keep your a** on the playing "field." If I was the team owner, GM or coach I'd be looking at the contract to toss him on his a**. It should be part of the contract that you assault a fan, you lose the rest of your contract. Forfeit salary, etc. And you have to endemnify the team, arena, etc.

I've been out shopping a bit today. Wasn't too bad. But I stayed away from the big stores. Except Target this morning around 9am. It was mild in there. Haven't dared to venture into the mall or the Wally-Worlds around here. They are too insane. I'll be there next week to have some tires mounted though (Kenda Klaws all around). mstr...you going to go play in the sand box next week? Doesn't seem like you are by your posts. I'm gonna try and sneak over. Depends on what the boss says. He's unhappy. Took some friends up to the company condo...someone turned the fsckin heat on before we left...just got the propane bill...$170. Who knows what PG&E is going to be. I had turned it off. Grrr. Nobody has been up there since before Tday weekend.

we should be allowed to clean up that kinda trash, but once again, we're a buncha lefty, socialist idealists, that would rather counsel the culprits and try to make them better humans. wouldn't a bullet not only accomplish that, plus serve as a deterent to the rest of the trouble makers?

Just kidding...I don't want any bashing from you guys and your one tooth.

If you want to try a real sport, then just go shopping today or tomorrow. Man...is it crazy in the stores right now or what? I tried to walk down the aisles of our local Wal-Mart and I couldn't even move. It's in a resort town so they can pretty much charge you whatever they want.
I'd say it's right up there with bronco bustin and bullriding. i sent ya the video i think.

walmart's prices should still be the same huh? is that why it's so busy, cuz everyone else is busy gouging? it's a real shame that Canadian and US made products are being flushed down the world toilet by the likes of the Great China-Wal-marts of the world. It's all about exploiting the cheapest labor you can get, in a country with ZERO enviromental standards. the only way to compete now is to open a factory in somewhere poorer than China, like most of Africa, get even cheaper labor, and be able to dump any of your by-product wherever it falls. Kyoto Accord! what a joke, it applies to a bunch of countries who have nowhere near as bad pollution problems as China, and other exploiting manufacturers, yet the bad countries still use coal in their manufacturing. better make sure your kids get a great education, cuz the next generation of un-skilled labor is doomed in our 2 countries.

oops, sorry, a bit gloomy. merry xmas!

i agree with ya skinner, on the b-ball players attacking the fans.

what does wally's charge to re &re tires? i'm lucky, i got an old manual changer. but the 8" rims from the kids stuff is real tough to change. and breaking the bead on these is plain mean. sure ya want the Klaws? i got em and can't honestly say I've noticed any difference over stock tires. I'm gonna try mudlites next time, at least they're light and everyone seems pretty happy with em. rockymountainatv.com is sure tough to beat on the bearclaw pricing too, if ya decide to go that way.

I've been told by a few people that they charge like only about $5/tire. A local shop wants like $10 or so per tire.

I agree with you on players going into the stands or idiotodic, drunk fans going onto the court/playing field. Also agree with skinner on his assessment of getting rid of the guy and is contract. But, there is always an owner form another team, that will pick the ****** up Just look at Spreewell, chokes his coach, then, gets kicked off the team but then, some stupid spoiled rotten owner signs him to another mega million contract It won't stop until the owners police themselves. Which isn't going to happen.

Skinner, I PM'd you about Pismo. Looks like we will be going for 2-3 days and staying in a hotelfor this trip. Not sure what days, but I'll let you know.

That must sux for your boss to fork out $170 for propane guess that's one less trip in the lear jet Actually that really does stink and when pg&e bills him, he'll really hit the roof. Friends have them and they are averaging $500 a month for their heating They have a new home with all the energy crap in it. But, to many vaulted ceilings and 2 kids who like mine, want to heat the world through the front door.

I heard the same thing about wally charging $5 too. But, the one by me says they don't do atv tires and all the local atv shops charge $20 per tirewhat a rip-off. Next time I buy tires, they will be mounted on new wheels

I contemplated new wheels as well. But that would have doubled my OTD price. Not sure I want to pony up that kind of money. Looking at getting some gear. But I'd REALLY like a new helmet. I got mine before the bike and it was just a cheapie. Be nice to have a nice helmet.

Now if I want new wheels I'll probably have to get new rear tires as nobody seems to make a 9" rim... I'm sure I could find a buyer for the tires, or keep them as backups on the stock rims. Never can have too much stuff.

In honor of this thread, and this group, I'm making my 1,000th post here. I just noticed that I was at 999.

If it weren't for this thread, who knows what I would have done for the last 7 or 8 months of my life. It's been a blast. Here's to the next 1,000!

And oh yeah, Merry Christmas!
