You and my brother would get along, he has a bunch of heavy equipment, graders, bulldozers, 2 excavators, back hoes. Unfortunately, he's a Ford guy, has a new F250 with a Powerstroke. Been to the dealer more times in 10,000 miles, than I've been in, 620,000 miles of driving Dodges. Come to think of it, I've never had any of my Dodges in for warrantee!!

Well, I can't say that. I did lose an AC compressor, but that was after 10 years of service. I am at 12+ years now and am still on the factory batteries too. I don't have any idea what was wrong with Ford. They could have snatched the Cummins contract from Dodge when they were on the ropes, but insisted in doing their own thing. They could really do a coup and put a Cat in them, and THAT would be the biggest thing for them since the Mustang... but they wont. WHY? Because it would cut into F150 sales and they are bound and determined to retain that record.

I used to be a die hard Ford Guy, but I got screwed a couple times and had to actually call Jack Nasser's office twice to get it resolved. When I bought my Hemi 03 Dodge, I went to the Ford guys and they were real DI*KS. So I said, let's see what Dodge can do for me, and I have never looked back. My wife and I have purchased 11 new cars from the Dodge dealer, and get this, two used Mustang GT's. But I didn't put a dime in Ford's pockets.

Hey enjoy what you have and good luck to you. Nothing wrong with what you got. Originally I was pushing Ram Cummins powered trucks. Been looking around. I guess if you intend on trading every 5 years or so, then the fords may fit the bill. They are nice to look at for sure. But I will be retiring soon, and I just can't live that lifestyle any more. I was a for man for many years. I could be again, but because of the above, I am not going to be. Unless something happens to the Cummins, I am pretty much set on keeping it.
