hows everyones kodiak running?
Had mine for a year now and just had my fist significant problem. It's got about 70 hours on it.
Last weekend, I was riding at our local trail spot in some light rain to sleet conditions. The temps were in the high 30's to low 40's. There were a lot of deep puddles and plenty of mud. After about an hour of hard riding,(steep hill climbs, mudbogging, long full throttle straightaways, etc.)it started to sputter and stalled out when I slowed down. It started right back up, but did it one more time on the way back to the truck (worst possible time to stall: on a city street in broad daylight!).
Haven't had a lot of time to troubleshoot it, but just wondering what the problem could be.
I've changed the oil twice already, the most recent time using a lower wieght synthetic blend in anticipation for more cold weather riding this winter. Also I've tried to keep the original air filter clean. Might be time for a new one though.
Plan to change the diff and final drive oil very soon.
One thing I noticed my last time out was the cooling fan that normally kicks on pretty regularly wasn't going on.
Could I be overheating due to a malfunctioning fan?
Any help would be appriciated.
