Default Help with Rincon

I enjoy riding my Rincon. I bought it a year ago this past Thanksgiving. I have 233 miles on it. 2 problems. The battery will not stay charged. I have to pull start it every time. Even after riding for a couple hours it will not start without pull starting it. Also, this past weekend we were riding in quite a bit of water. Maybe up to 2 feet deep. On occasion the handle bars would start to wobble like a tie rod broke. This is in 2 wheel drive. I think that the 4 wheel drive is kicking in and out, but only one wheel at a time. Back and forth, back and forth type of motion. It might last 10 seconds then go away. Any ideas? Thank you for reading this long post.

Your battery may be dead. However, on mine the bolt holding the positive connection to the batt came loose and fell out. Sometimes I had to pull start it. You should check your connections and the charging system too.

well the first thing is to look at the connections and then put silicon on the wires on the batt to water seal it, you want to do that with all connections you think you might of got water in or on. If thats doesnt wrok i would suggest to take it to a battery place and ask them to check the charge, they can charge it up and see if it holds it, if it doesnt get a new battery around $40. For the wobble all i can really suggest is check the bolts on the steering.

The battery thing could be a grounded wire somewhere that keeps draining the battery... or a bad battery as people have already suggested. I'd hook up a voltmeter to the battery and check to see what you're getting with the engine shut off, at idle, and at about 2000-3000 rpm. If the battery's ok, you should have about 12-13 volts with the engine off, and close to 14-15 volts with the engine running above an idle.
