Whats the most Extreme 4x4ing you have ever done??? Where at?
Holy Cross, what a great place. 1st time we went up there (1987) was before the Army Corps of Engineers made a road across the mud bog. We went there because a friend told us it was a Jeep trail and trucks couldn't make it. My wife and I still laugh over that trip. We have a 3/4 PU and went into the City and never spun a tire. Every trip since then we have come back with some type of body damage. I guess we were "too careful" the first trip or a little cocky after that. We took several friends up there 3 years ago. Still a great trail. We also did Red Cone, and went to the top of Mt. Antero, the highest peak in CO you can drive a vehicle. On a clear day you can see the peak of the San Rafel Mountains south of Moab, 250 miles away taking the crows route.
85% of all the mountain peaks in the United States that reach over 14,000 ft are in Colorado.
I think we are going to take the ATV's there this summer.

Off-trail riding 40 miles from the road up in the Chicken Ridge area of Alaska. There is still a '02 Grizzley up there. End over end down a 1500' ridge. For some reason, it wouldn't move after that fall The engine still ran though!! I am going to go up and claim it this summer if it is still there.
OT, I got some pics posted. Check out the snow we have gotten up here or down here, depending on where you are at.

Hey Fireman,
Yes they are from this year. They were taken on Christmas day. On Christmas Eve I shoveled for an hour and a half to get my trailer out, uncovered and my partner's snowmachine loaded up, only to discover I had a flat tire. The spare was at home in the garage So when I came back I brought the camera. I like it, I love snow!! How is the snow up in North Pole area this year? I was thinking of renting a Public use cabin up in Angel Creek area for the wife's birthday. She has never ridden a snowmachine or really seen the Northern Lights like they are up there.
