Sooooo Sorry if a little ribbing got under your skin. No harm intended.

I do like the way you outfitted the 400. Looks sharp. Do you have to be carefull about the front end getting too light with the carrier and Jack on board? I have considered one of those racks but wondered about weight transfer and balance.

That's OK Craig....no offense taken!

Yeah, with a 92 pound Labrador onboard, the front end does get a little squirrely. I haven't had the chance to really get out with my boy onboard, that will wait till October when Quail Season kicks in again! I might have to find some tractor ballast or something to put on the front end!

Take care....

oh BTW, did I ever tell you how much I paid for my half ton?

I bought a FULL policy, collision and comp, $200 deductable on collision, $100 on comp, which includes aftermarket items, online from Progressive. $165 per year. Yeah, I'd tell Polaris to take a hike and shop around more.

It is not so much the kind of machine that you have, it is more a case of the age of the riders that theinsurance company assigns to them. For example, my 8 year old's Raptor 80 costs more than my wifes Rubicon and my Raptor combined. The issue is age in this case, however, keep in mind that the locality where you live, your driving record etc still has a bearing on the total cost too.

If you live in an area where there is a high theft rate on ATV's, you will pay more than a low crime area. It is all a game of statistics and numbers.

If all you guys with Progressive ever have to make a claim (hopefully you dont) you will realize just what kind of company Progressive is. I have been in collision repair for many years and I've seen first hand how they "repair" their insureds vehicles. Good Luck.
