I forgot to ask you. Did you cut your mudflaps to fit those 28" under your bear or do any modifying to your fenders?

My Mudflaps are cut but they are not shortened. I knew that question would arise so i took a picture of my "floorboard flap" design. They only rub on the slightest occasion and i still have full mud protection. I had to rip off 3 sets of flaps before i figured this out. Now if i can only find a way to save my brake light........

I have went through 3 brake lens so far. After spending an a sh!tload for the oem yamaha with wire harness and mountplate. I found a good source for them on ebay for just the lens only for $20.00. Just FYI..

I will be needing to mod my flaps as well so maybe post a thread that expalins how so us bigbear people.

Lomax,

I am just curious, how big are those tires that you have on "your old wolverine" in the picture?

If you do put 26's on your rancher what mods are you going to put on it. It will still bog down in thick mud and you wont be able to turn them. I have a '04 450S,Outlaw Clutch Kit,HMF,HL Springs,K&N Power Kit,ITP Magnum billets, Outlaws 28" 12.5&10.5,HL Starter Leak Shield,Superwinch 2000,snorkit,1.5 spacers,CV guards and i dont have any probs turning my 28's but i have more motor than you. If you want to see some pics here they are Foreman
