From my week-end at a drag race event in my town, in the utility 700 and over, the Brute Forces 750 won every races easily in its class(but one no-brainer who raced his Brute Force in 2wd mode in one race and lost against a Prairie 700). There was one Sportsman 800efi, yes, he was quicker then the two King Quads 700efi there, far behind the Brute Forces but very close and a little slower than the Prairie 700.
A Sportsman 800efi beaten a Bruteforce 750 in an open cross-country race is possible for its suspension is more stable and easier to ride, but from what I saw yesterday, in a straight line a stock Sportsman 800efi beating fairly a stock BruteForce in a drag race on pavement is bulls@!t, unless the BruteForce was running very very very bad!!!

There was a member (vegasdude) that posted RW HP #'s for the Sp800 @ 34 on another thred. A stock Twin peaks/prairie 700 is about 32 and a buddy has a BF that when it was stock was tested @ 35. These numbers are all very close and Its been my experince the unsprung weight of custom tires and wheels and stock tires and wheels in polaris's case eat up alot of HP. I am planning on having my SP800 tested as soon as I can get into the shop. I am expecting to see about the same results for mine.
I have not seen a KQ run a SP800 but in a thred I started on the Kawi forum I posted the results of a shootout between the BF750 vs the KQ vs the Prairie 700. I can feel safe stating the Sp800 is faster. The Prairie was faster than the KQ, so was the BF. for me the results on hard pack when racing the Sp800 vs the Twin peaks are much closer than they are in the sand. The twin peaks just barely wins on hard pack. they seem very even on hard surfaces.
I believe spider when says he can beat a BF750, I just think there are some added variables that are causing that to happen.Like heavy aftermarket tires and rims on the BF or maybe its jetting is off, I just don't think its the norm. 100% stock vs 100% stock I realy believe the BF750 is faster on any type of surface. Not a lot faster just where a little help tossed the polaris way would change the outcome.
