is a 99 foreman anygood do they switch from 4x4 to 2x4 or are they all time 4x4 do these have good power im thinking of purchasing one for 3199 but im going to talk him down to 2500 range

 

My friend has a 2000 450 and its full time 4x4. I would look around and find one that will come out of 4x4 if it where me.

 

now that i think about it i think it had a warn 424 selector or some other brand and even if it is full time 4x4 that isnt a big deal for me since i would ride my ex more any way i just want to know if they have decent mudding power and good for real slick steep hill how is the overall power and are they a good 4x4 quad all around performance wise..also i ride mud trails mines hills every thing so any info would be good thanks

 

Well if it has the warn selector then it would probably be alright. I would test ride it and see if it had enough power for you. When you ride it you will probably think its pretty slow compared to your ex. Over all I would say its a pretty good atv. Also I would try to talk him down to $2500.00.

 

thanks for the replies and thats why i asked if it has good power cause comming off of my ex then to a foreman it will fill underpowered to me but i just wanted to know if it was just where i was coming off of the sport and yeah im deffinatly not paying 3199 for it ill try to go as low as them money stealing dealers will let me cause it has some wear to the plastic and stuff but i started it up and the motor sounds strong
