Doesn't take much to get an 800lbs ATV. You add on some gear, gas, and a rider and you can add 300+ pounds.

Default atv magazine woes

I have an idea. Get your girlfriend, son or someone light to ride on back with a video camera and film the speedo. Then send the video to ATV Magazine and ask them to explain what they are seeing. My buddy was able to hit 60mph, on his Grizzly, one time with a pasenger on back. So I know it can be done.

Thats all the more reason to buy a lighter quad.
