well, at 992# dry weight, it would be too heavy to trail ride here in MT with over a gal. of gas. we have a 1,000# weight limit on atvs. after that it is in the same catagory as jeeps, ect...

so viperdots, you could get a ticket on atv trails on public lands here with it...

well, if thats the case Monty you couldn't ride your brute force here in Michigan because an ATV is identified as UP TO 500 cc's.....

obviuosly well overdue for an update and not enforced.

accually i mis-read the chart. montana has no weight limit, but about half of the states do. mostly between 800# and 1,000#. my bad. here is the chart with a few legal limits (weight, ect....)

Monty-- If you looked I am in Montana. Over in Florence, South of Missoula. And yes I already knew about the weight regs and that I was more than fine to use mine. My 600 Twin Sportsman was approximately 750 pounds and with around 80 pounds of winch, and gear I am sure I was pushing 900 pounds. No different than having a passenger or a deer/elk strapped on.

yep i looked at your location. the chart in the site on my previous post has some of the regs, and i thought at first that MT had a weight limit. like i say, my mistake. the MV7 is also easily within the width limits here too.

i'd like to test one of these, but i don't really think i'm one of those who need or can use one.
