second quad for the "little" lady
I ride with a 05 King Quad all the time and believe me, it's not an improved Grizzly. I would stay away from Polaris. Since they make them up here, a lot of people have them and they are HIGH maintenance. I'm not saying they are a bad quad, but you have to take very good care of them or they will let you down.

And No.... The king quad 700efi and the grizzly are over 7K list... new '06 compare the 400 / 450 class quads and they will be out the door very close to the upper 6K. It can be less depending on your individual deal that you find,,,
But everyone has there own personal preference.. I suggest to all that want a quad, is to go and test ride the different models, compare features and then decide.. No one, I repeat, no one can make up your mind for you..

You can buy a grizzly or king quad all day for less than 6900 otd. My Camo BF750 with a 4 year warranty was only 7300 otd. I think it could handle most 400 outlanders.
I don't think the Polaris EFI's are junk. I have ridden thousands of miles with my Bother in law and he has only had one minor mechanical breakage and that was self induced. He is a little north of 400lbs (look at my pictures) and used shock spacers to keep the rear shocks from compressing so much under his weight. We then were jumping our quads at Coral Pink sand dunes (see pictures again). He was getting 4-5 feet of air. We then were on the Paiute trail and his shocks broke. That's the sum total of over 2000 hard miles with a 400 lb rider.
