3/16 Synthetic Winch Rope
#2
You can get Amsteel for about $50 on Ebay. They say you should not use a roller fairlead with synthetic because it can pinch in a corner and break it. There are some fairleads designed for synthetic rope that are probably best instead of a standard hawse (sp) fairlead too.

I got mine the same place as Vinnie........Nice product but if you're gonna do alot of plowing, they sell a shorter length especially for plowing.......The only thing I don't like about it is that the extra protector kinda gets bunched up on the spool when plowing.........My dilemma right now is that I really don't wanna respool with a shorter section for plowing every year........Vinnie has a nice strap set up but once again I don't wanna have to keep changing the rope to a strap every year.....I'll figure something out......

I bought mine from OK Offroad, along with the hawse fairlead. My quad had a roller fairlead, but the recommendation seems to be to use a hawse so there are no pinches as others have said.
