You know what would be cool on that AC V2 would be some adjustable shocks like those Rancho 9000's

You could hit a button and the shocks would get much stiffer and would shorten up a few inches, that would lower the quad and give it awesome handling...then hit another button and the shocks would get long and soft for some serious ground clearence

or you could go long and hard, or soft and short

which ever your perverted pleasure dictated!

DDude,
The things you noted, and even more techo stuff as noted by others on other threads, are all well and good. Many we'd all like to have, but right now I believe the ATV industry is bumbing up against the dollar limit folks will pay. To paraphrase..."Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?" Right now the high end are over $10K (800 XL bomb Max & LE). In a couple of years they could be at $14K due to normal annual inflation and the addition of a few gee wiz techo items.

Now factor in exactly where the industry as a whole is headed WRT areas available for riding, people (kids) killing themselves, the anti-quad groups and so on, well, you can bet the industry is watching very closely and I wouldn't think they are willing to go out on a limb too far. At the present time, once you bump up against that $12K-$13K mark you are getting into car territory and the market for ATVs is going to get pretty thin there. Not saying what you suggest wouldn't be nice - it would - just not sure the market is willing to pay for it in quanties large enough to make it economically viable.

Probably outrun a stock grizz? Probably?? A stock V2 will outrun a stock grizz, tack a couple mods on a V2 and the grizz is eating dust. I ride with two guys a lot, (04 V2, 04 Grizz) and the grizz brings up the rear every time. It's a nice wheeler but fast is not what it's built for, not what it is best at. The 650 H1 eats our dust too, that big single just can't keep up with the top end of the v-twin.

Suzuki isn't exactly competition, its a majority stock holder so I believe partner would be a better word. Kawie? Well, it's just a damn good engine, how can you blame them for using it?
