Default Who makes the best utillity atvs????

cc1999 of
wichita, Kansas

The only Popo that I had that was not a total POS, was the 05 800 I had, and it did not do anthing that the Outlander 800 does not do better. It did have a small amount of extra storage on the popo, but like balgonieman said, everyone that rides big trail systems has storage boxes or bags and once atached to the front rack that extra storage in the front of a polaris is lost as far as easy access goes. I am glad to here Popo decided to put EBC on all four wheels and not just the rear wheels, its about time they addressed that problem.
Is there even a hill or tree in Kansas? Why would you even need brakes or eye sight let alone EBS when riding there?

hahaha. What does Polaris do better? hahaha.. Well, for one, the ride is undoubtably better. And since 95% of atvers agree with that Polaris has the most comfortable ride, ill almost say its a fact. Two, Polaris comes with MUCH better tires and rims than BRP. Three, Polaris' Lock'N'Ride, while alot of people may not use this, atleast its there, BRP offers nothing. Four, yes the storage, for people like me, i do my riding on local land and within our own town to where you dont have to carry extra gas and such, just go ride for about 4 or 5 hours and one tank is fine, so the storage really does come in handy. Five, Polaris is built with stronger components, which is where the weight comes in. Six, Polaris rear lights, work lights, Dual exhaust (800), 3 headlights, etc is pretty cool.. Seven, their AWD system is superior to Bomb's system. Yes i do have expierence with BRP's visco lock, i didnt just "see it on tv".. And while it might not be "flat out noticeable", you will end up noticing it sooner or later and more than once. Oh, and about 1500 miles not being much. DUH! All i was trying to say was that i've put 1500 extremely hard miles on mine, and i've yet to have a problem. I had over 4000 miles on my Rancher and it held up great, and i had about 600 miles on my '04 500 H.O. and it had no problems before it got stolen. AND i do alot of my riding with two Foreman's, one being an '04 450 S and the other a '98 450 ES and the 98 has 5,400 miles with almost no problems, so i know all about reliability. I got nagged about it before i bought my Polaris and im sure glad i didnt listen to everyone else, because i would have missed out on the best.

Did you get all of this BS off the Polaris web site to start with 95% of ATVS say the popos ride better than the rest of the ATVS you couldn't get 95% of ATVERS to agree on anything,Then you go on about the storage so you can carry extra gas well if they didn't burn so much gas then you wouldn't have to carry more or many a bigger gas tank like AC or brp. Then theirs reliability or lack of any as a former popo owner that rides about 5000mi a year when I had popos I had two one to work on and one two ride. Another reason to stay away from them is their weight some of them are over a 1/2 ton with the rider also they are death traps on a icy down hill with their rear wheel only engine braking.Know lets look at their poor performance when compared to the outlander the 650 will beat their 800 the 500 outty will almost beat the 700EFI .

LoL.. How does me doing wheelies with my quad have anything to do with it having the best suspension/ride or not? But since your interested, yes, if i pull back on the bars, it can do a wheelie. I know its not as easy as your 800 by any means, but that weight on my Sportsman also contributes to helping out the ride. Hopefully you already knew that.

haha, first off, you need to learn how to type. Second, i was bashing anything, just stating my opinion, and some facts.. Next, thats great that you used to ride your old Polaris 5000 miles a year. Who cares. And if you could READ, i said that i DONT carry extra gas because i dont need to. Next, about the weight, it dosent matter if a Sportsman falls on your, or an Outlander, you will get crushed, and since there is no Ice in Alabama, i dont have to worry about that part.. And, there you go talking about drag races. Thats all Bomb owners talk about. And yes, Magazines, TV Shows, Friends of mine, everyone i know will agree on one thing, and i've seen it everywhere since like '02.. Polaris does have the best ride.

So when your 800lb popo is lying on top of you what do you say it riddes well but its a death trap going down hill. Sorry you don't have any real hills in Alabama don't you even have small ones or is it just flatland must be lucky in the west with real hills and real trails do you just play in the mud and if you just ride mud wasn't it an out lander that won the mud nationals as well as the pulling contest they had at the mud nationals.

Maybe AC could buy some left over engines from BRP then the wouldn't be the slowest ATV on the market.
