Default Yamaha's DVD

How many of you have seen it. It came with the new Dirt wheels it must be payback for all the bucks they spent with them. One thing it does is shows how popo's come down step hills and also how bad the electrical is on a Polaris.

Well, I wouldn't expect any manufacturer to point out the quality points of its competition on their own advertisement.

Default Yamaha's DVD

I wouldn't say a waste of plastic. They are a nice way to get a view of a particular ATV's features and specifications. They can give you a rough idea about the capabilities of the machine but any head to head comparisons they may offer have to be viewed with a very, very, very skeptical eye. None of them are going to be above board no matter what so-called independent testing company is supposedly overseeing the testing. The tests are obviously going to be staged in such a way to show the favored machine in the best light while showing the weaknesses in the others. That's just marketing and should be expected.

If a person can use the slightest bit of logic and reasoning and some simple critical thinking they can see through any shenanigans going on during the tests and take them for what they are and gather any useful tidbits from promotional DVDs and add it to the rest of the information one uses when evaluating different ATVs for future purchase. That task of evaluation gets more and more difficult every year since the all manufacturers are making very good ATVs. It is really difficult to choose.

The thing I like about them is if you want to find the weak points of ATV they show them.BRPs shows Honda's lack of power,Yamaha's show's the problem's with Polaris's and BRPs clutch. It also shows how many people have lost control of their Polaris's coming down step hills.
